We incorporated the word Accelerate into daily operations and resident experiences by taking intentional steps to elevate community life. One major step was hiring a new Culinary Director, who significantly enhanced the dining program. Monthly brunches, candlelight dinners, and high-quality daily meals quickly became highlights for residents.
Our Memory Care Director also accelerated education and support. Monthly dementia-focused learning sessions now help residents and families better understand diagnoses and navigate challenges with confidence.
Across all departments, staff embraced the theme by expanding and elevating community events. Our Tree Lighting event is a strong example. It featured local vendors, a festive meal, and visits from Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the Grinch. These moments brought residents, families, and neighbors together in meaningful ways.
We also accelerated outreach efforts beyond our walls. The community hosted job fairs, participated in the Alzheimer’s Walk, visited local schools to welcome students back, and continued Story Corner events. These efforts strengthened relationships and increased community visibility.
These combined initiatives reinforced teamwork and resilience. They strengthened connections between staff and residents while renewing energy across the community. The shared momentum deepened our commitment to making CedarStone a great place to live and work.
Looking ahead, CedarStone will continue accelerating forward. Daily operations will keep improving, family and community events will expand, and service to the Cedar Valley region will deepen. The partnerships built this year give purpose and keep the community engaged and connected.
